Between Two Worlds (2005)
Flavor Notes: mushroom, citrus peel, sweet squash, moss, autumn
This premium quality tea comes from trees in a tea forest that are
between 500 and 800 years old on the slopes of Yiwu Mountain. Traditional tea blending techniques and a stone press were used by the Chang Tai Tea Factory in Yunnan. Between Two Worlds has a fruity, complex flavor, with a healthy dose of funk — in the best way. This tea tastes truly different than almost any other tea I have had, and requires some exploration of brewing time and temperature to find all of its gems (and which of these you prefer to bring out!). There is a gentle Cha Qi in the body, and a deep, full-body mouth feel. A real treat.
