Reverence (2021)

Flavor Notes: umami, sea plants
 
Grown in Laoshan Village on the slopes of a sacred mountain in Shandong Province, the Liang family grows this Tea in their Tea garden greenhouse located 300 meters up the mountain. Then, the Tea plants are covered during winter, and Reverence is picked from the first flush in April. In fact, this Green Tea is a varietal of Long Jing (Dragon Well), but the characteristics are quite different and unique. This is an excellent Green Tea with thick, pungent aroma and savory, vegetal flavors. A winner!
