Meng Ding Mist (2021)
Flavor Notes: orchid, grass, citrus, lychee
Picked in the Spring on the slopes of Gan Lu Mountain in Sichuan Province, this premium Green Tea has an incredible aroma with notes of flower and fruit. After picking, the leaves receive several iterations of low temperature pan frying, followed by a kneading, which is essential for the flavor to emerge, and a baking to prevent oxidation. The producers of this tea have mastered the process, producing something quite dissimilar to other premium Green Teas. Best brewed at lower temperatures (80-85 C) and careful not to over-steep, this tea is pure excellence.
